Engineering “2+2” international joint cultivation program. The session took place both online and offline. Professor Neil

“2+2”program), Professor Chen Fei (Vice
Dean of International School of Materials Science and Engineering),
Mrs. Mu Zhao (Director of the Scientific Research Office) and all the
undergraduate students majoring in materials science and engineering
attended the session. The session was
presided over by Professor Chen
Fei.
During the session, Professor Chen Fei first extended a very warm welcome to the present professors and students, saying that this session provided the students with opportunities to broaden their international horizons and to seekinternational career. Later, Professor Neil Cameron introduced the research level and academic achievements of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Monash University, expecting more students to participate in the “2+2” international joint cultivation program.
Mrs. Xia Liangxiao, a staff of the International Admissions Department of Monash University, also emphasized the discipline characteristics, academic atmosphere, and colorful lifestyles at Monash University, including living environment and study condition in Australia. Professor Aijun Huang introduced the discipline advantage, research direction and the world ranking of Materials Science and Engineering at Monash University.
Professor Huang Wenchao and Professor Qiu Yao, excellent representatives of the program, were invited to share their experiences at Monash University from learning to living and working.
In the following Q&A session, students raised their questions on application procedures, living costs and course replacement. Professor Aijun Huang and Professor Chen Fei answered these questions one by one. After that, they advised that students should make study plans as early as possible so to seize the opportunity and enhance global competence under the present situation. At this point, the information session was successfully concluded.
